Description

As a Branch Manager at Punjab National Bank, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our branch, managing a team of banking professionals, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in driving business growth, achieving targets, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of banking staff, including assistant branch managers, customer service representatives, and tellers, to achieve branch objectives.
  2. Customer Service: Ensure high-quality customer service by resolving customer queries, complaints, and issues promptly and efficiently.
  3. Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for increasing deposits, loans, and other banking products and services.
  4. Risk Management: Implement risk assessment and control measures to maintain branch security, prevent fraud, and adhere to compliance guidelines.
  5. Financial Management: Monitor branch financial performance, manage budgets, and analyze financial reports to make informed decisions.
  6. Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  7. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for branch staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of banking experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good understanding of financial analysis and risk management.
Experience
  • Bachelor's degree: 5+ years of relevant banking experience
  • Master's degree: 3+ years of relevant banking experience
