Nayara Energy is seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our refinery operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct process simulations, analyses, and optimization studies to enhance refinery operations.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot unit processes to ensure smooth and safe operations.
  3. Develop and implement process control strategies to maximize production efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.
  4. Collaborate with maintenance and reliability teams to identify and rectify equipment issues.
  5. Assist in the design and implementation of process modifications and upgrades.
  6. Participate in HAZOP and safety reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  7. Prepare and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures.
  8. Train and mentor junior engineers and operators to improve their technical skills.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering within the petrochemical or refining industry.
  • Strong understanding of refinery processes, including distillation, catalytic cracking, and hydrotreating.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
  • Familiarity with safety standards, environmental regulations, and process safety management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience
  • Bachelor's degree: 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree: 3+ years of relevant experience.
