Description
MRPL is seeking a talented Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our refinery and petrochemical facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, troubleshoot operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze process data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency optimization.
- Develop and implement process improvements, including technology upgrades and procedural changes.
- Provide technical support to production teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve process-related issues.
- Conduct process simulations and modeling to assess performance and recommend enhancements.
- Participate in HAZOP studies and safety reviews to maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with maintenance and reliability teams to improve equipment performance.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within a petrochemical or refinery setting.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
- Strong knowledge of process safety management and HAZOP analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree: 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree: 3+ years of relevant experience.
Skills
