HSBC Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Financial Analyst at HSBC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights, analyze financial data, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the company's performance, identify trends, and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to support decision-making.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Advisory Role: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support on various projects and initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience with regulatory compliance and risk assessment is advantageous.
