HSBC Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the company's performance, identify trends, and recommend areas for improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to support decision-making.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Advisory Role: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support on various projects and initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
- Previous experience with regulatory compliance and risk assessment is advantageous.
