Responsibilities
  1. Drug Discovery: Conduct research to identify and develop novel pharmaceutical compounds that have the potential to treat various medical conditions.
  2. Experimental Design: Design and execute experiments to validate the efficacy and safety of drug candidates.
  3. Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret experimental data, using statistical and computational tools to draw meaningful conclusions.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists, biologists, and clinical researchers to optimize drug development processes.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all research activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.
  6. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experiments, results, and methodologies in accordance with GSK's documentation procedures.
  7. Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical research and apply this knowledge to projects.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting experiments, preferably in a pharmaceutical research setting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and laboratory equipment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience

Minimum of [X] years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical research.
