- Drug Discovery: Conduct research to identify and develop novel pharmaceutical compounds that have the potential to treat various medical conditions.
- Experimental Design: Design and execute experiments to validate the efficacy and safety of drug candidates.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret experimental data, using statistical and computational tools to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists, biologists, and clinical researchers to optimize drug development processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all research activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experiments, results, and methodologies in accordance with GSK's documentation procedures.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical research and apply this knowledge to projects.
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting experiments, preferably in a pharmaceutical research setting.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and laboratory equipment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
