DMart is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and the achievement of sales targets. You will lead a team of dedicated employees and drive the store's success through effective leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of store staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and cash handling.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff to maintain a high-performance team.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
- Manage supplier relationships and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in inventory management and retail software.
- Knowledge of retail operations and customer service best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management.
- Experience in a grocery or supermarket setting is a plus.
