Responsibilities
  • Monitor and optimize refinery unit operations to maximize efficiency and production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and upgrades.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and operators.
  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to unit operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in refinery operations.
  • Strong knowledge of refinery processes and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in refinery operations, including hands-on experience with unit operations and process optimization.

Skills
  • Proficiency in refinery process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental compliance.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
