Vodafone Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest levels of network performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and maintain network security protocols and best practices to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with the architecture team to develop network solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Participate in capacity planning and network optimization efforts.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a network engineer in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
  • Proficiency in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Experience with Cisco networking equipment and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) concepts is advantageous.
