BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Engineer at BAE Systems, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems and solutions for our defense and aerospace projects. You will collaborate with a talented group of engineers and professionals to ensure the success of our projects.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement system requirements, specifications, and architecture for defense and aerospace systems.
  2. Perform system integration, testing, and verification to ensure compliance with project objectives.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize system solutions.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Participate in technical reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
  6. Document system design, processes, and outcomes for project reporting.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Systems Engineer in defense or aerospace industries.
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Active security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering.
  • Experience with defense or aerospace projects is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience with government or military contracts is a plus.
