Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure financial stability.
- Investment Management: Manage the investment portfolio, monitor performance, and provide recommendations for optimizing returns.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess various scenarios and investment opportunities.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, financial institutions, and investors.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior financial analysts.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and best practices to enhance financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and management.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and accounting standards.
- Excellent knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, meeting tight deadlines.
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis and management.
- Previous experience in the finance sector, particularly within the railway or infrastructure industry, is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, risk assessment, and investment management.
- Track record of delivering accurate financial reports and recommendations.
