Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic financial insights to support IRFC's mission. Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  3. Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure financial stability.
  4. Investment Management: Manage the investment portfolio, monitor performance, and provide recommendations for optimizing returns.
  5. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess various scenarios and investment opportunities.
  6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  7. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, financial institutions, and investors.
  8. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior financial analysts.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and best practices to enhance financial operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and management.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and accounting standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, meeting tight deadlines.
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis and management.
  • Previous experience in the finance sector, particularly within the railway or infrastructure industry, is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, risk assessment, and investment management.
  • Track record of delivering accurate financial reports and recommendations.
